Emigrating or starting as a foreigner in a new country is exciting – in many ways. I took this step in 2009 and moved to Germany. At first, I was a bit lost and lacked the motivation to actively deal with my own finances.
That changed abruptly after I made an expensive mistake with my insurance and had a bad experience with my bank. I also noticed that many people in my environment who are newly arriving in Germany are initially overwhelmed by the amount of bureaucracy and what is offered in the insurance and finance sector. Through my own experiences, I could potentially help many people – reason enough for me to continue my education as a financial advisor at Deutsche Vermögensberatung and start my business.
Finance has become my expertise and passion. Today, I love actively helping to shape financial portfolios. The successes of my clients are also my successes and I am particularly pleased when they become visible.
